Key Responsibilities
  • Lead restructuring/insolvency assignments across sectors
  • Provide strategic advice/solutions to underperforming businesses
  • Oversee administrations (trading/pre-pack), liquidations, CVAs
  • Handle corporate transactions: negotiate terms, sale documentation
  • Perform financial analysis (cash-flow forecasting, recovery planning)
  • Develop/implement tailored recovery plans
  • Advise on financial restructuring, distressed M&A, performance improvement
  • Engage stakeholders (banks, PE, investors, lawyers) for integrated solutions
  • Collaborate across legal/finance/operations for project delivery
  • Build client/lender relationships
  • Support business development (proposals, positioning)
  • Mentor juniors, promote high performance
  • Ensure compliance with legislation/standards/policies
  • Lead complex, cross-functional engagements with senior stakeholders
Qualifications
  • Degree required; CII/CPI essential; ACA/ACCA (or equivalent) advantageous
  • JIEB obtained/pursued desirable
  • Restructuring/turnaround/insolvency expertise from professional services/advisory
  • 7+ years corporate restructuring experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of UK insolvency legislation/frameworks
  • Excellent communication/negotiation/stakeholder skills
  • Commercially proactive/solutions-focused
  • Proficient in MS Office and insolvency case systems (e.g., IPS)
  • Ability to manage teams/multiple projects
  • Experience training/mentoring juniors
