This position reports to the Corporate VP of Finance and works closely with, and is supported by, the corporate Commercial Contracts team to ensure consistency and compliance across all commercial activities. You will also be responsible for managing export control compliance, including ITAR, EAR, and UK Export Regulations, and will serve as the primary commercial interface with customers and partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead commercial and contractual support across B2G and B2B engagements
- Ensure adherence to MOD frameworks and subcontracting processes
- Negotiate and draft a range of complex commercial agreements
- Maintain compliance with export control regulations (ITAR, EAR, UK Export Control Order)
- Act as the primary commercial point of contact for customers, suppliers, and internal teams
- Collaborate with the corporate Commercial Contracts team to align on best practices and risk management
- Develop contractual related policy, procedures, and documents as requested and in conjunction with corporate Commercial Contracts team to meet compliance requirements

- Strong experience in defence contracting, including both government and industry customers
- Solid understanding of MOD frameworks and subcontracting practices
- Proven ability to negotiate and draft complex commercial agreements
- Strong working knowledge of export controls (ITAR, EAR, UK legislation)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- SC clearance (or eligibility to obtain)
