Contract Duration: 6 months initially

Location: London

Working Pattern: Hybrid (2 days from office – Wednesdays & Thursdays, 3 days remote)

Role Summary: As a Junior Content Strategist, you will be responsible for supporting the content strategists in developing concepts and creative approaches for branded content campaigns for Client's advertising partners. You will work closely with the Lead Content Strategist and Senior Content Strategist to provide end client, story, and talent research, and content references, as well as sourcing third-party and client-owned audience insights and data for the strategists as directed. You will be supported over time to generate your own proposals. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team of storytellers and content creators, including Designers, Producers, Writers and Project Managers.

Areas of Responsibility:

  • Carry out research on prospective end clients, including their current brand communications and content partnerships.
  • Source imagery and references to support the team’s proposals.
  • Source third-party insights and data, and use client's internal systems to source appropriate and pertinent client-owned insights and data to support the team’s proposals.
  • Develop proposal decks and write-ups for campaigns with support from the Senior Strategist and Strategy Lead.
  • Create production packs for the post-sale team with support from the Senior Strategist and Strategy Lead.

Areas of Accountability:

  • The EMEA Content Strategist will be accountable for ensuring all research supplied is fact-checked and from reputable sources.
  • Ensuring the sources of all research and data/insights are clearly displayed and linked in research documents.
  • Ensuring all research/data/insights are supplied in a timely manner in line with any agreed deadlines.
  • Developing and writing proposals and production packs with support from the Senior Strategist and Strategy Lead.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • 1+ years experience as Researcher or Junior Strategist.
  • Robust research and writing skills.
  • Familiarity with working to guidelines, and to high editorial standards.
  • Understanding of content channels and effective distribution systems (e.g. social platforms, SEO, advertising formats).
  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite, Slack.
  • Previous experience in an international media publisher and/or international companies preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Creative.
  • Teamwork.

Desirable:

  • Above average writing and communication skills.
  • General knowledge of Adobe Creative Platforms and other production applications.
