We’re looking for a hands-on Test Engineer to join our Test Department, reporting to the Test Engineering Manager. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with complex electro-optical-mechanical systems, taking ownership of testing activities, fault-finding, and supporting high-quality product delivery.
What you’ll be doing:
- Carrying out Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) using workshop equipment such as power supplies, multimeters, and oscilloscopes
- Creating and improving test procedures, test plans, and FAT documentation
- Fault-finding and diagnosing electrical and electromechanical issues
- Interpreting technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and PCB schematics
- Supporting production, quality, and field service activities when required
- Maintaining accurate documentation in line with ISO 9001 standards
- Ensuring health & safety, quality procedures, and strong housekeeping practices
- Actively contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
What we’re looking for:
- Strong experience in manual testing of electrical and electromechanical systems
- Ability to write clear, structured test plans and procedures
- ONC (or equivalent) in Electronics Engineering
- Comfortable using Microsoft Word and Excel
- Methodical, detail-focused, and well organised
