An established international corporate bank is offering an excellent opportunity for an experienced Facilities / IT Operative to join its London branch. This role is ideal for someone looking to advance their career within a professional, fast-paced financial services environment.

You’ll play a key part in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the office, supporting both Facilities Management and IT functions, while working closely with a European Head Office.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Act as the primary liaison with Head Office for IT and Facilities
  • Provide hands-on IT support (hardware, software, and basic network troubleshooting)
  • Manage IT procurement and equipment distribution
  • Oversee facilities and service contracts, including supplier negotiations
  • Ensure compliance with UK Health & Safety regulations, conducting audits and risk assessments
  • Coordinate maintenance, inspections, and emergency repairs
  • Maintain and support the Business Continuity Plan (BCP)
  • Act as the main operational support contact for London-based staff
  • Assist with operational risk and data protection processes
  • Support and deliver office and operational projects
  • Liaise with landlords, managing agents, and external contractors

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years experience in Facilities, Office Management, or similar roles
  • Strong operational IT knowledge (troubleshooting and user support)
  • Good understanding of UK Health & Safety requirements
  • Experience in procurement and supplier negotiation
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver end-to-end tasks
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A hands-on, proactive approach with a team-oriented mindset
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Microsoft Excel proficiency (desirable)
