A leading global financial services organisation is undertaking a major global HR and Reward transformation programme and is seeking an experienced Reward Vice President to support executive compensation, deferrals, and remuneration governance across EMEA. This is a high-impact contract role offering exposure to senior stakeholders, regulatory-driven reward structures, and global programme delivery.
Location: City of London
Hybrid: 2–3 days onsite per week
The Role
You will provide subject-matter expertise across executive compensation and regulatory reward frameworks, supporting both business-as-usual reward activity and a global deferrals design and implementation project.
Key Responsibilities
- Support executive compensation arrangements for senior populations across EMEA
- Contribute to a global deferral framework design and implementation programme
- Manage and support Material Risk Taker (MRT) processes across multiple jurisdictions
- Prepare analytics and papers for Remuneration Committee and governance forums
- Support annual compensation review activities where required
- Review, implement, and support reward policy changes
- Partner closely with HR, Risk, Compliance, SMCR, and Company Secretariat teams
- Identify opportunities to improve reward processes, controls, and communication
Experience Required
- Strong Reward / Compensation experience within financial services
- Deep understanding of UK & European remuneration regulation, particularly MRTs
- Experience supporting executive compensation and deferral structures
- Advanced Excel and strong analytical capability
- Confident communicator with experience engaging senior stakeholders
- Prior exposure to transformation or global HR programmes is highly desirable
Degree preferred | CIPD optional
