About the role

We are a footwear brand and we are looking for a Country Director for UK who provide direction and management of all commercial functions in the assigned country, leading the commercial strategy of the Wholesale and Retail and Digital channels in alignment with the global strategy of each channel defined by the channel directors. Ensure sustainable growth and profitability of the business in the country of competition, both in sales and contribution margin.

Responsibilities.

  • Define and execute the commercial strategy for the Wholesale, Retail and Digital channels in the country of competition and measure its results by measuring the most appropriate business evolution indicators (KPIs).
  • Identify and evaluate new market opportunities, as well as trends and competitive dynamics.
  • Establish clear and achievable sales objectives by country and channel, aligned with the company's global objectives.
  • Train, lead and encourage a commercial team for its development and achievement of the company's objectives, promoting commitment and loyalty to the company.
  • Identify and establish relationships with appropriate wholesale partners in line with the company's strategy.
  • Actively pursue new store openings and help find and negotiate pop-up store opportunities.
  • Define and execute the local brand plan in accordance with the global marketing strategy.
  • Manage financial management, including budgeting, forecasting and ensuring the business is operating within budget constraints.
  • Guarantee that the retail/trade marketing calendar is perfectly defined and executed (VM, events, CRM actions).
  • Establish long-lasting relationships with key people and organizations within the market, such as key accounts, department stores.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with key industry clients, partners and stakeholders in the region of membership.
