We have an exciting opportunity in our The Den team! We are a Blackpool-based charity working across Blackpool, Fylde and the Fylde Coast, with a long-term commitment to supporting our local communities and improving lives. At the heart of what we do is empowering people to have their voices heard.
Role Purpose: To provide effective administrative and operational support to The DEN, Empowerment Charity’s specialist children and young people’s domestic abuse service, helping to ensure children, young people, families and professionals receive a responsive, safe and well-organised service. The postholder will act as a key first point of contact for The DEN, responding to telephone, email and in-person enquiries, supporting the referral and allocation process, and completing initial duty calls with safe carers to gather relevant information and support appropriate next steps.
Working closely with the DEN Manager and wider team, the postholder will maintain accurate and confidential records, support effective communication with families and partner agencies, and contribute to the smooth day-to-day running of the service. The role requires a strong understanding of confidentiality, safeguarding and the sensitive nature of working within a children and young people’s domestic abuse service.
