Location: Beeston, Nottingham

Hours: Flexible – Full‑time and Part‑time available. Day hours are 08:00 am – 17:00 pm.

About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Paediatric Registered Nurse to join our team in Beeston. This role is central to our mission of providing exceptional, individualised care and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in a child’s daily life.

Clinical Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high‑quality paediatric nursing care with professionalism and empathy.
  • Support the child safely within a school environment, enabling access to education while meeting clinical needs.
  • Liaise with school staff to ensure care plans and risk assessments are followed.
  • Manage complex conditions including Cerebral Palsy, Epilepsy, and Dystonia.
  • Provide airway management, including deep suction, repositioning, and oxygen therapy.
  • Administer gastrostomy feeds and medications safely.
  • Support physiotherapy programmes and mobility needs.
  • Assist with personal care and daily living activities.
  • Monitor clinical progress and respond appropriately to changes in condition.
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date clinical documentation.
  • Work collaboratively with families and multidisciplinary professionals.
  • Promote a safe, nurturing environment that supports emotional well‑being.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
  • Provide occasional holiday cover with the family when required.

Essential Requirements:

  • Registered Paediatric Nurse with a valid NMC PIN.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience caring for children with complex airway needs.
  • PICU experience (essential).
  • Experience in community‑based and school‑based care (desirable).
  • Strong communication skills and a compassionate, child‑centred approach.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
  • Enhanced DBS clearance.
  • Driving licence (required).
