About the Role
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Assistants / Healthcare Assistants to join our growing team across Nottingham and surrounding areas. You will be supporting male service users with complex needs, including spinal injuries, neurological conditions, tracheostomy care, PEG feeding, and mobility support. This role offers the opportunity to build meaningful relationships while delivering exceptional, person‑centred care that promotes dignity, independence, and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised care in line with individual care plans
- Assist with all aspects of daily living, including personal care
- Support with mobility, reposition, and manual handling
- Administer medication and support with clinical tasks (where trained)
- Provide specialist care such as:
- Tracheostomy care
- PEG feeding & medication
- Catheter care
- Cough assist & suctioning
- CPAP overnight support
Current Opportunities Include
- NG2: Supporting a male client with a spinal injury (Days & Nights)
- NG9 (Trowell): Supporting a gentleman with Locked‑In Syndrome (Day shifts)
- NG8: Supporting a male client with spinal injury, Autonomic Dysreflexia & CPAP overnight
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 6 months UK care experience
- Compassionate, reliable, and professional approach
- Strong communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends & bank holidays
- Enhanced DBS required
- Full UK driving licence required for some packages
- Experience with tracheostomy and PEG care essential for specific roles
