About the Role
Care Assistants / Healthcare Assistants / Support Workers needed to support both children and adults with complex needs. The role involves caring for a young boy with complex needs including PEG feeding and diabetes management.
Hours: Weekdays and Weekends 7am‑4pm.
Pay: £12.71 – £14.29 per hour.
Role Specific Responsibilities
- Moving & handling and repositioning
- Personal care and daily living support
- Meal preparation and light housekeeping
- Community access through wheelchair‑accessible vehicle – driver required
- Companionship and emotional support
Key Responsibilities (All Roles)
- Deliver compassionate, person‑centred care in line with care plans
- Assist with personal care, mobility, nutrition, and daily activities
- Promote independence, dignity, and emotional wellbeing
- Maintain accurate care documentation
- Build trusting relationships with clients and families
- Follow all health & safety regulations and company policies
Qualifications
- Caring nature and genuine desire to help others
- Minimum 6 months care experience (essential)
- Knowledge of epilepsy & challenging behaviour (preferred)
- Compassionate, patient, dependable approach
- Strong verbal and written English skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Basic IT skills for documentation
- Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (preferred)
