Are you reliable, hardworking, and take pride in creating a clean and welcoming environment? Empowering Learning are working with a Primary School in the Ferryhill area for a dedicated School Cleaner to help maintain high standards of cleanliness within their school.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out daily cleaning tasks including classrooms, corridors, toilets, and communal areas.
  • Ensure all cleaning duties are completed to a high standard, following health and safety guidelines.
  • Use cleaning equipment and materials safely and effectively.
  • Report any maintenance issues or hazards promptly.
  • Work as part of a team to ensure the school remains a safe and pleasant place for pupils and staff.
Requirements:
  • Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential - training will be provided.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Reliability and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must have an Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one.
Working Hours:

Part-time hours available (flexible shifts to suit school requirements).
