We are currently seeking an experienced Learning Support Assistant for a full-time job in a SEND School in the Wolverhampton area, working with a lovely SEND class.
To be considered you must have:
- Experience working as a Learning Support Assistant
- Expert knowledge of the SEND school curriculum
- A caring and nurturing approach to your work
- Qualified LSA - ideally level 3 or equivalent
- Excellent knowledge of the UK SEND school system
- Ability to nurture and support young children with SEND
- At least 12 months experience within Special Needs
- Safeguarding level 1 trained
- DBS on the update service
- Experience with Autism/PMLD
- Dedication to supporting young SEND learners
The school serves children with a range of special needs, primarily focusing on more severe and complex Autism and physical disabilities. It is crucial that you have a strong background in working within an SEN school and be ready to assist multiple students with diverse needs. The school accommodates children aged 11 and older, and in this role, you will be supporting upper KS3/KS4 learners. You will work within the classroom, providing focused support in small groups, as well as giving individual attention to learners.

The school is seeking a skilled and confident SEN Teaching Assistant (TA) who can engage and inspire students to reach their full potential. To be considered for this role, you must have excellent classroom experience and a genuine passion for working within SEND.
