Empowering Learning is currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Level 2 Teaching Assistants to support a range of welcoming and supportive primary schools across the Wigan area from September. We are seeking individuals who are passionate about supporting children's learning and development across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. Whether you are an experienced Teaching Assistant or looking to further develop your skills within primary education, we would love to hear from you.

The Role:

  • Supporting class teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons
  • Working with small groups and individual pupils to support learning and development
  • Assisting with classroom preparation and resource organisation

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

  • A Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
