Pay: £172.98-£200 per day (dependent on experience)

Empowering Learning are working in partnership with a welcoming Welsh-medium primary school in Torfaen to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated Welsh-speaking Primary Teacher for opportunities starting in September. This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive and inclusive school community, teaching through the medium of Welsh and helping pupils develop both academically and personally.

The Role:

  • You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, creative and inspiring lessons within a Welsh-medium primary setting, creating a positive learning environment where all pupils are encouraged to achieve their full potential.

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Fluency in Welsh, with the ability to teach confidently through the medium of Welsh.
  • Experience teaching within a primary school setting.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • A genuine passion for primary education and inspiring young learners.
  • The ability to plan, deliver and assess high-quality lessons.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents/carers.

Requirements:

  • An Enhanced DBS Certificate registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
  • Two professional references covering your recent employment.
  • The right to work in the UK.
  • The ability to communicate and teach confidently in Welsh.
