Empowering Learning are working in partnership with a welcoming Welsh-medium primary school in Torfaen to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated Welsh-speaking Primary Teacher for opportunities starting in September. This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive and inclusive school community, teaching through the medium of Welsh and helping pupils develop both academically and personally.
The Role:
- You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, creative and inspiring lessons within a Welsh-medium primary setting, creating a positive learning environment where all pupils are encouraged to achieve their full potential.
The Successful Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Fluency in Welsh, with the ability to teach confidently through the medium of Welsh.
- Experience teaching within a primary school setting.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- A genuine passion for primary education and inspiring young learners.
- The ability to plan, deliver and assess high-quality lessons.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents/carers.
Requirements:
- An Enhanced DBS Certificate registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
- Two professional references covering your recent employment.
- The right to work in the UK.
- The ability to communicate and teach confidently in Welsh.
