Empowering Learning is looking to appoint a motivated and innovative Engineering teacher initially on a temporary basis but this has the potential to go permanent for the right person. You will take a lead role in developing and strengthening a successful department. This role is ideal for someone with a solid Design Technology background who is passionate about improving outcomes, engaging students, and positively shaping young people's future pathways.
Based within a secondary school in South Oxfordshire, you will have a central role in influencing curriculum delivery and teaching practice across the department. You will support students in developing both theoretical understanding and hands-on skills that support progression into further education or employment. Working as part of a committed and encouraging team, you will contribute to the delivery of a modern, industry-focused curriculum in a well-equipped setting.

Who We're Looking For
- Have experience working with children or young people in a school or similar educational setting
- Hold a degree in Design Technology, Engineering, or a related subject (or have equivalent relevant experience)
- Are confident leading learning, managing classrooms, and supporting students across KS4 and KS5
- Bring a positive, adaptable, and proactive approach to teaching and leadership
- Are motivated to support both student achievement and whole-school success
- Have the confidence to deliver engaging lessons and contribute beyond your subject area when required
- A strong focus on high-quality teaching and positive post-16 outcomes
