Empowering Learning are seeking a resilient, caring, and proactive Behaviour Buddy to support pupils within a welcoming primary school in Wirral. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about helping children overcome barriers to learning and thrive socially, emotionally, and academically.
About the Role:
- Providing 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with additional behavioural or emotional needs
- Helping pupils develop positive coping strategies and engagement in lessons
- Supporting the class teacher with behaviour management and inclusion strategies
- Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils to encourage positive change
- Assisting with classroom activities and creating a supportive learning environment
We’re Looking For:
- Experience working with children or young people (school, youth work, care, or similar)
- A calm, patient, and encouraging approach
- Strong behaviour management skills or a willingness to learn
- Someone reliable, empathetic, and confident in supporting challenging behaviour
- A commitment to promoting equality, inclusion, and pupil wellbeing
