We are seeking a creative, passionate, and skilled Art Teacher to join our vibrant Expressive Arts Department on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for an enthusiastic educator who can inspire students across Art & Design.
Requirements:
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Strong subject knowledge in Art & Design
- Experience teaching at secondary level (KS3-KS4)
- Ability to deliver practical and theory-based lessons with clear progression
- Strong classroom management and excellent communication skills
- Passion for the Arts and commitment to fostering student creativity
The Role:
- Teach Art & Design across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Deliver engaging, creative, and practical lessons that capture students' imagination
- Plan and prepare high-quality learning resources that encourage artistic exploration
- Support students in developing technical skills, creativity, and confidence
- Assess, monitor, and provide constructive feedback to promote progress
- Contribute to the culture of creativity within the department and wider school
