Empowering Learning is currently recruiting for a Primary Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with SEND and ASD at a welcoming school in Esher. This is a long-term position starting in September 2026, with interviews taking place ASAP. Ideally, we would like potential candidates to have DBS in place; if not, we can help accommodate a DBS for you.
We are looking for a committed, enthusiastic and compassionate Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs and helping them achieve their full potential. Teaching Assistant - Requirements
- Experience supporting children with ASD/SEND is highly desirable.
- Recent experience working with children in a primary school setting would be an advantage.

- The ability to develop positive, trusting and caring relationships with pupils.
- Good organisational and communication skills.
- The ability to work flexibly and effectively as part of a dedicated team.
