Empowering Learning is proud to be working in partnership with a fantastic private nursery setting in Northallerton. We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and committed individual to join their team on a long-term basis, with the opportunity to secure a permanent position.
You do not need to be qualified to apply. If you have transferable skills from roles involving children, care, support work, customer service, or other people-focused environments, and you have a genuine passion for helping young children learn and develop, we want to hear from you. For the right candidate, full training and support will be provided. The nursery is looking to invest in someone who is committed to building a long-term career and becoming a valued member of their team.
What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting the learning, development, and wellbeing of young children.
- Helping to deliver engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework.
- Creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment.
- Building positive relationships with children, colleagues, and parents.
- Supporting the daily routines that help children thrive and develop.
What We're Looking For
- A genuine passion for working with children.
- A positive, caring, and proactive attitude.
- Reliability, commitment, and a desire to build a long-term career.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is desirable, although support can be provided where required.
- Level 3 Childcare or Early Years qualifications are welcomed but are not essential. We are equally keen to hear from unqualified candidates with the right attitude and transferable skills.
