Location: Various locations across Teesside

Contract Type: Full-time (Temp to Permanent)

Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm

About the Role

Empowering Learning are proud to be working in partnership with a number of high-quality private day nurseries across Teesside, and we are currently seeking passionate, dedicated Level 3 Nursery Teaching Assistants to join these fantastic settings. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term role with a clear pathway to a permanent position within the nursery. You will be joining supportive, well-established environments where your contribution to early years development is truly valued.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Supporting the learning, development, and wellbeing of children in an early years setting
  • Delivering engaging, age‑appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework
  • Creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment
  • Building strong relationships with colleagues, parents, and carers
  • Observing, tracking, and recording children's progress

Essential Requirements

  • Minimum Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years (essential)
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (essential)
  • A genuine passion for working with young children
  • Strong communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
