Empowering Learning is working in partnership with an established and welcoming nursery in Stockton-on-Tees to recruit 2 passionate and dedicated Level 3 Early Years Teaching Assistants for permanent positions. This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive Early Years setting where you can make a real impact during the most important stage of a child's development.
The Role
- Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality early years education
- Help plan and deliver engaging, play-based learning activities
- Provide targeted support for children, including those with additional needs
- Observe and track children's development in line with the EYFS framework
- Create a nurturing, safe, and stimulating learning environment
- Build positive relationships with children, colleagues, and families
Requirements
- A Level 3 qualification in Early Years (essential)
- Experience working within a nursery or Reception setting
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and child development
- A caring, patient, and proactive attitude
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of safeguarding and inclusive practices
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
