About the Role
As a Day-to-Day Primary Teacher, you will deliver pre-planned lessons, support pupil learning, and maintain a positive classroom environment when regular class teachers are absent. Opportunities are available across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2.
Responsibilities
- Deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1, or KS2
- Confidently manage classroom behaviour using positive strategies
- Adapt quickly to different school settings and routines
- Ensure a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment
- Build strong working relationships with pupils and staff
- Follow safeguarding and school policies at all times
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Recent UK teaching experience within a primary school
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- A strong understanding of the primary curriculum
- A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Flexibility to work across multiple schools in Lincolnshire
Desirable Experience
- Teaching experience across EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2
- Ability to adapt lessons to meet different learner needs
- Experience supporting SEND pupils
- Strong communication and organisational skills
