Care Assistant /Unqualified Teaching Assistant Empowering Learning are working closely with Special Needs SEN schools across Wigan to support children with diverse special needs. The role would be working as a Learning Support Assistant / Teaching Assistant to support pupils with complex and/or medical difficulties including Autism ASD, Dyslexia, Aspergers Syndrome, ADHD, personal care needs, Hearing or Visual Impairment. Job Responsibilities Comfortable supporting pupils with diverse and/or complex learning disabilities Ability to engage and support pupils' learning. Supporting pupils with emotional regulation Develop therapeutic relationships with pupils. Experience in supporting pupils with SEND needs is desirable but not essential. To promote and support the inclusion of all pupils in learning activities and maximise their achievement. Requirements Some experience working with special needs children is preferred but not essential. Passion for creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
