Long termI am currently recruiting SEND Teaching Assistants to support children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. As a Specialist Teaching Assistant, you will support students either one-on-one or in a group setting throughout the school day.
Your role will involve supporting pupils in the classroom, participating in specialist mentoring sessions, and assisting during some break times. The classes are made up of 8 -10 children and young people aged 3-19 years old with a broad range of abilities and special needs. The classes are built based on the needs of the children rather than their age. As a key member of the child\’s support team, you will collaborate closely with the SENCO, senior management, and external professionals, including therapists, healthcare providers, and CAMHS.
