We are seeking a dedicated Primary Class Teacher for a temporary role at a Pupil Referral Unit on the Wirral, catering to primary-aged pupils who need additional support due to SEND such as SEMH, ADHD, and other additional needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging, creative, and differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs across the primary curriculum.

  • Promote pupils' personal growth, social development, and emotional well-being alongside academic progress.
  • Work collaboratively with a skilled team of teaching assistants, behaviour mentors, and pastoral staff.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience working in primary education; experience with SEND, SEMH, or challenging behaviour is highly desirable.
  • Excellent classroom management, empathy, and adaptability.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
