Long termI am currently recruiting SEND Care Support Workers to help children with Autism Spectrum Condition and Severe Learning Difficulties. As a Specialist Teaching Care Support Worker, you will support students on one-on-one throughout the school day, helping them with learning and there care needs.

Your role will involve supporting the students with care needs such as persnal care, feeding, along with supporting them with moving around the school and classrooms. In class, you will be on hand to help their learning development, and assist them during break times. The School supports children and young people aged 3-19 years old with a broad range of abilities and special needs. As a key member of the child\’s support team, you will collaborate closely with the SENCO, senior management, and external professionals, including therapists, healthcare providers, and CAMHS.

Assist with personal care if needed

Job Requirements

Experience in supporting children or young adults with SEND is desirable, but is not essential
Experience of working in care with adults or children with be an asset
Calm and empathetic
Proactive and adaptable
Good behaviour skills and understanding
Valid DBS registered with the online update service or be willing to apply for a new one
