Empowering Learning are working with a forward-thinking academy in Droylsden to recruit a strong, consistent SEN Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with challenging behaviours. This role would suit someone from a sport, coaching, mentoring, or physical activity background who is confident working with children who respond best to structure, routine, and positive role models.

About the Role

  • Providing 1:1 behaviour and engagement support for a pupil with additional needs
  • Using sport, movement, and practical activities to support regulation and focus
  • Supporting behaviour strategies set by the school and SEN team
  • Helping the pupil develop confidence, resilience, and positive social behaviours
  • Being a reliable, consistent presence in the child's school week
