Vacancy – SEMH Teaching Assistant Location – Sunderlanded Start date – ASAP Salary – £96 to £100 per day Empowering Learning are a market leading education recruitment company. We are working in partnership with an SEMH Special School based in Sunderland, who are looking to appoint an SEMH Teaching Assistant. This is a full-time vacancy, seeking an outstanding candidate to join the school on their journey of growth. The successful candidate can expect to work in a challenging but rewarding environment. The school leadership help and support all members of staff to help them achieve their full potential. The job To provide support and guidance to the pupil by removing barriers to learning. To support and facilitate change and transition along the journey to excellence. To be a consistent support to avoid any further disruption. To be an active participant in supporting the timetable in all it's different context. Complete assessments and records of students progress and achievement when needed. Work 1.2.1 and group settings to support pupils with complex needs. Able to engage students in their lessons and support with the work.
