SEMH Teaching Assistant | Orpington Are you seeking a role as a Teaching Assistant supporting pupils with SEMH? Do you have a passion or are you open to supporting pupils with additional needs? If so, at Empowering Learning we have an SEMH Teaching Assistant opportunity! SEMH Teaching Assistant | Job Summary * Working with children with SEMH (Social Emotional and Mental Health) supporting with their behaviour and pastoral support * £85-£110 per day (inclusive of holiday pay) | Paid weekly on a PAYE basis * Making the children feel like they\’re in a comfortable environment. * Working on a 1-1 with children * Full time, term-time only, immediate start * Working with an Outstanding SEN team To be successful in this SEMH Teaching Assistant role you must have a 1:1 or 2:1 Psychology Degree from a leading UK University. You must also have prior experience working within either SEN or SEMH settings, As an SEMH Teaching Assistant you will be responsible for helping children with Mental Health issues and children who need additional support. You will need to be confident and be keen to help children from difficult backgrounds. As an SEMH Teaching Assistant you will be required to work closely with the children and Teachers to know who might be struggling mentally.
