Are you reliable, hardworking, and take pride in creating a clean and welcoming environment? Empowering Learning are working with a Primary School in the Ferryhill area for a dedicated School Cleaner to help maintain high standards of cleanliness within their school.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out daily cleaning tasks including classrooms, corridors, toilets, and communal areas.
- Ensure all cleaning duties are completed to a high standard, following health and safety guidelines.
- Use cleaning equipment and materials safely and effectively.
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards promptly.
- Work as part of a team to ensure the school remains a safe and pleasant place for pupils and staff.
Requirements
- Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential - training will be provided.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Reliability and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must have an Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one.
Working Hours
Part-time hours available (flexible shifts to suit school requirements).
Salary & Benefits
Competitive hourly rate: 13.68 - 16.11 per hour. A dedicated consultant to support you. Supportive working environment.
