We are seeking a School Admin Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Birmingham. This School Admin Assistant role is starting in September, offering the opportunity to work at the heart of a vibrant school community. You will be the first port of call for all visitors as well as keeping things running smoothly day-to-day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a friendly and professional welcome to visitors, parents, and pupils.
- Manage front office duties including answering calls, responding to emails, and handling enquiries.
- Maintain accurate student records and attendance data.
- Support with general administrative tasks, filing, and correspondence.
- Assist with school communications such as newsletters and letters home.
- Work closely with staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a school office or admin environment is desirable.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Confident with IT systems and Microsoft Office (experience with Bromcom or Sims is essential).
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
