English Teacher Location: Rochdale, Greater Manchester Start Date: Immediate Duration: Until Christmas, with potential to extend into 2027 Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:10pm Pay: £160 - £225 per day, depending on experience We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and committed English Teacher to join a secondary school in Rochdale, starting immediately and continuing until Christmas, with the potential for the role to extend into 2027 for the right candidate. This is a full-time teaching position, Monday to Friday, working with pupils across KS3 and KS4. The Role Teaching English across KS3 and KS4. Planning and delivering engaging and effective lessons. Supporting pupils to make strong progress and achieve their potential. Maintaining positive classroom management and high expectations. Working collaboratively with the English department and wider school team. Full-time hours of 8:30am - 3:10pm, Monday to Friday. Initial placement until Christmas, with the possibility of a longer-term extension into 2027. The Ideal Candidate Experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4. Ideally holds QTS, although experienced English teachers without QTS may also be considered. Strong classroom and behaviour management skills. A genuine passion for English and supporting young people. Reliable, professional and able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff. Available to commit to the full-time role. Requirements Two professional references covering recent relevant employment. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
