Design Technology Teacher Location: Rochdale Start Date: Immediate. Full time Monday to Friday 8:30am to 3pm. Duration: Until Christmas, with potential to extend Pay: £160-£200 per day, depending on experience We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Design Technology Teacher to join a secondary school in Rochdale on a full-time basis, starting immediately and continuing until Christmas, with the potential for the role to be extended. The successful candidate will have previous experience teaching Design Technology or Art across KS3 and KS4 and will be confident delivering engaging lessons while maintaining a positive and well-managed classroom environment. The Role Teaching Design Technology/Art across KS3 and KS4 Planning and delivering engaging, practical lessons Supporting students to develop their technical and creative skills Maintaining high expectations of behaviour and learning Managing classroom behaviour effectively and confidently Working collaboratively with the wider department and school staff Assessing and monitoring student progress The Ideal Candidate Previous experience teaching Design Technology or Art at KS3-KS4 Strong classroom and behaviour management skills Confident delivering practical and engaging lessons Reliable, organised and professional Able to build positive relationships with students Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is desirable Requirements Enhanced DBS on the Update Service Two professional references Previous secondary teaching experience Right to work in the UKIf you are an experienced Design Technology or Art Teacher looking for a new opportunity in Rochdale, we would love to hear from you
