Empowering Learning are working in partnership with a welcoming secondary school in Rochdale to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated QTS Art & Design Teacher for a full-time position starting in September. This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive Art & Design department from September through to Christmas, with the possibility of an extension and the chance to become permanent for the right candidate.
The Role
You will be responsible for delivering engaging, creative and inspiring Art & Design lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, creating a positive learning environment where all pupils are encouraged to develop their creativity, technical skills and artistic confidence.
The Successful Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching Art & Design across KS3 and KS4.
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
- A genuine passion for Art & Design and inspiring young people.
- The ability to plan, deliver and assess high-quality lessons.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- The ability to engage and motivate students through creative and practical teaching.
Requirements:
- An Enhanced DBS Certificate registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
- Two professional references covering your recent employment.
- The right to work in the UK.

- Competitive daily pay of £160 to £225 per day, depending on experience.
