PRU Behaviour Support Specification
We are looking for an experienced PRU Teaching Assistant for a full-time position at a Behaviour school in the Walsall area, where you will be working with students with SEMH and SEBD needs.

This is to start September 2025 and will run ongoing as a full time position.

To be considered, you should have prior experience as a PRU TA a strong understanding of the SEND school curriculum, be committed and proactive in working with challenging young adults.

  • You must be a qualified behaviour support or Teaching Assistant
  • Have an excellent knowledge of the UK SEND school system
  • Have experience working in a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU)
  • Ideally have worked for at least 12 months within Special Needs
  • Safeguarding level 1 trained
  • DBS on the update service
  • PRU/SEMH/SEBD experience
  • Dedicated to supporting young SEND learners
