Empowering Learning is recruiting on behalf of a primary school in North Norfolk for an experienced Key Stage 2 Primary Teacher to join the school from September. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and resilient teacher to make a real impact within a small mixed KS2 class. The school is able to consider either full-time supply or 2 days per week supply. The role is initially expected to last for one half term, with the potential to continue for the remainder of the autumn term.
The Role
- Planning, preparing and delivering engaging KS2 lessons
- Assessing pupil progress and maintaining accurate records
- Creating a positive, inclusive and supportive classroom environment
- Working collaboratively with school leaders and support staff
- Delivering consistently high-quality teaching to support improved pupil outcomes
The successful teacher will be joining a school that is committed to raising standards and continuing its improvement journey. As such, the quality of teaching, planning and assessment is of paramount importance.
The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an internationally recognised equivalent teaching qualification
- Proven experience teaching within Key Stage 2
- Outstanding classroom practice and strong behaviour management
- High-quality planning, assessment and curriculum delivery
- The ability to raise attainment and inspire pupils to achieve their potential
- A proactive, resilient and positive approach to teaching
