Hours: Full Time, Monday-Friday

Pay: £88.92-110 per day

Empowering Learning is recruiting for a Primary Teaching Assistant to work in various friendly and supportive Primary Schools around North Manchester in areas such as Bolton, Bury and Rochdale. The roles available vary from casual, day-to-day supply to full-time, long-term placements supporting pupils across the schools and working closely with class teachers to support learning and development.

This opportunity would suit someone who is passionate about education, enjoys working with children, and is looking to gain or build on experience within a primary school setting.

The Role:

  • Supporting the class teacher with day-to-day classroom activities
  • Working with pupils in small groups and on a 1:1 basis where required
  • Assisting with the delivery of lessons and learning activities
  • Helping to create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment
  • Supporting behaviour management and school routines
  • Providing pastoral support to pupils when needed

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Have experience working with children in a school or similar setting
  • Be enthusiastic, patient and approachable
  • Have strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Be reliable, proactive and adaptable
  • Hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2 or 3 desirable but not essential)
