Empowering Learning is currently supporting a secondary school in Cardiff who are seeking an enthusiastic and committed QTS PE Teacher to join their department from September. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated PE specialist to inspire students through engaging practical and theoretical lessons. The successful candidate will become part of a supportive school environment and play a key role in encouraging students' confidence, teamwork and enjoyment of physical education.

The Role

You will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality PE lessons across KS3 and KS4, ensuring students are challenged, supported and motivated to achieve their best. The role will involve creating a positive learning environment, promoting participation and helping students develop both their sporting skills and personal development.

The Successful Candidate Will Have

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching PE across KS3 and KS4.
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • A passion for sport and inspiring young people.
  • The ability to deliver engaging lessons to students of all abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive approach.

Requirements

  • Enhanced DBS Certificate registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
  • Two professional references from recent employers.
  • The right to work in the UK.
