Part Time SEND Teacher - Maternity cover

Are you looking for a job working with SEND students? Are you experienced in primary teaching?

Responsibilities

  • Part-time position working 4 days per week, Monday to Thursday starting 23 February until end of July.
  • Looking after a Year 5 form group, teaching maths and literacy to small groups of pupils, and other curriculum subjects such as PSHE and Science.
  • Some knowledge of SpLD would be preferred.
  • Work on a transdisciplinary basis with a team of in-house SALTs and OTs.

Requirements

  • Successful class teaching experience.
  • Experience of working with children with SEND.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • An excellent knowledge of the specialist curriculum area and how it may be effectively taught.
  • Degree QTS.
