Part Time SEND Teacher - Maternity cover
Are you looking for a job working with SEND students? Are you experienced in primary teaching?
Responsibilities
- Part-time position working 4 days per week, Monday to Thursday starting 23 February until end of July.
- Looking after a Year 5 form group, teaching maths and literacy to small groups of pupils, and other curriculum subjects such as PSHE and Science.
- Some knowledge of SpLD would be preferred.
- Work on a transdisciplinary basis with a team of in-house SALTs and OTs.
Requirements
- Successful class teaching experience.
- Experience of working with children with SEND.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development.
- An excellent knowledge of the specialist curriculum area and how it may be effectively taught.
- Degree QTS.
