A welcoming and well-regarded secondary school in Tameside is seeking a qualified PE Teacher to join their team for an immediate start. This is a full-time role teaching Physical Education up to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with the opportunity to continue through to the end of the academic year for the right candidate. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate PE specialist who is confident delivering engaging, inclusive lessons and promoting positive attitudes towards health, fitness, and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality PE lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
- Plan and prepare structured and engaging PE lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Create a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback
- Work collaboratively with the PE department and wider school staff
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
