We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary School Tutor to support Year 6 pupils in preparation for their SATs examinations. This is a full-time role until SATs are completed, ideal for a passionate educator who is confident in boosting pupil attainment and confidence.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver targeted 1:1 and small group tuition in English and Maths.
  • Support pupils with exam techniques, revision strategies, and confidence building.
  • Identify learning gaps and provide personalised interventions.
  • Work closely with class teachers to track progress.
  • Create engaging and supportive learning sessions aligned with the national curriculum.

Requirements:

  • Graduate Degree
  • Experience working with Key Stage 2 (Year 6) pupils.
  • Strong knowledge of SATs content and assessment expectations.
  • Confident in teaching English (SPaG, Reading, Writing) and Maths.
  • Patient, motivating and results-driven approach.
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
