Are you an experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant? Looking for a new challenge in a new school? Available to work full time, 5 days a week between the hours of 8.30-3.30?

Empowering Learning urgently require experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistants to work in Schools across the Northallerton area. We have roles to suit those wanting day to day work to enjoy the flexibility of working when you want as well as long term and short term assignments. Due to a recent high demand in Teaching Assistant placements in Schools across the Northallerton area for 1:1 SEN support and general classroom support we are urgently recruiting Level 3 Teaching Assistants who have recent experience of working with pupils in UK School settings.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist classroom teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
  • Support students with their learning through one-on-one assistance and small group interventions.
  • Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Promote the social and emotional development of students, fostering their confidence and independence.
  • Assist with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff and other support staff to meet the individual needs of students.
  • Contribute to the planning and preparation of teaching resources and materials.

Requirements:

  • Relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 3).
  • Experience in working within a Primary School setting.
  • Thorough understanding of the curriculum and learning objectives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Caring and compassionate approach towards students.
  • Strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
