Role: Qualified Teaching Assistant - Early Years
Location: Northallerton
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Empowering Learning are working with a fantastic private day nursery in Northallerton who are seeking a qualified Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone enthusiastic, nurturing, and passionate about supporting young children at the very start of their education journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting teaching and learning within the Early Years classroom
- Getting down on the carpet and engaging in play-based activities
- Assisting with personal care, including changing nappies
- Helping to set up and deliver engaging activities
- Supporting children with early literacy, numeracy, and social development
- Building positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
Requirements:
- Must hold a Level 3 Early Years/ Teaching Assistant qualification
- Experience in Early Years or nursery settings is a must
- A caring, patient, and proactive approach
- Ability to work full-time, Monday to Friday
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to purchase one)
