Empowering Learning is currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Qualified Teaching Assistants to work across a range of primary, secondary, and specialist educational settings throughout Newcastle Upon Tyne. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about education and committed to supporting children and young people to achieve their best both academically and personally. The Role
- Support pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups
- Assist teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons
- Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Support pupils with varying learning abilities and additional needs
- Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in learning
- Assist with classroom preparation and learning resources
- Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
The Ideal Candidate
- Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
- Have previous experience working within a school environment
- Are passionate about supporting children's learning and development
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Are adaptable, reliable, and proactive
- Can work effectively as part of a team
Essential Requirements
- Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
- Experience working with children or young people
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
- Ability to provide satisfactory professional references
- Right to work in the UK
