Are you an experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant? Looking for a new challenge in a new school? Available to work full time, 5 days a week between the hours of 8.30-3.30? Empowering Learning urgently requires experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistants to work in schools across the Newcastle area. We have roles to suit those wanting day-to-day work to enjoy the flexibility of working when you want as well as long term and short term assignments. Due to a recent high demand in Teaching Assistant placements in schools across the Newcastle area for 1:1 SEN support and general classroom support, we are urgently recruiting Level 3 Teaching Assistants who have recent experience of working with pupils in UK school settings.
Responsibilities
- Assist classroom teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
- Support students with their learning through one-on-one assistance and small group interventions.
- Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Promote the social and emotional development of students, fostering their confidence and independence.
- Assist with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies.
- Collaborate with teaching staff and other support staff to meet the individual needs of students.
- Contribute to the planning and preparation of teaching resources and materials.
Requirements
- Relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 3).
- Experience in working within a primary school setting.
- Thorough understanding of the curriculum and learning objectives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Caring and compassionate approach towards students.
- Strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
