We are seeking a passionate and resilient Maths Teacher to join a dedicated SEN/SEMH provision in Newcastle. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and differentiated Maths lessons to students with SEN/SEMH needs
- Support students in overcoming barriers to learning

- Maintain high expectations for attendance, behaviour and achievement
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
- Experience working within SEN, SEMH or alternative provision settings is desirable
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential
- Strong behaviour management skills and a nurturing approach
- A commitment to safeguarding and supporting vulnerable young people
Safeguarding Requirements
An enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service is required. Applicants without one must be willing to obtain a new enhanced DBS prior to employment.
