The Role
As a Nursery Room Leader, you will be responsible for leading a nursery room, ensuring high standards of care, learning, and development for children aged 0-5 years.
You will inspire and support your team while creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where every child can thrive.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and motivate a team of Early Years Practitioners.
Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework.
Monitor children's development and maintain accurate learning records.
Build positive relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues.
Ensure safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies are always followed.
Support staff development through mentoring and guidance.
Create an inclusive, welcoming, and stimulating learning environment.
Requirements
Level 3 qualification (or above) in Early Years Education or Childcare.
Previous experience working within a nursery setting.
Experience leading a room or supervising a team is desirable.
Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
A genuine passion for supporting young children's development.
