We are currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and nurturing nursery in Matlock for a passionate and qualified Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to start as soon as possible. The Role
As a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner, you will play a key role in supporting children's learning and development, ensuring they receive the highest standard of care while encouraging them to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality care and learning in line with the EYFS Framework.
- Plan and provide engaging, age-appropriate activities to support children's development.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Observe, assess, and record children's progress.
- Support children's emotional, social, physical, and educational development.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating learning environment.
- Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies at all times.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- A recognised Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent) - essential.
- Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting.
- A good understanding of the EYFS Framework.
- A caring, enthusiastic, and reliable approach.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A genuine passion for supporting young children's learning and development.
Requirements
- Level 3 Early Years qualification.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
- Right to work in the UK.
