Salary: £210 - £260 per day

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Mathematics Teacher to join a team at a well-established school in Waltham Forest, East London. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons across all Key Stages and helping to develop our students' understanding of mathematical concepts.

Key responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and challenging mathematics lessons across all Key Stages
  • Use a range of teaching methods and resources to ensure students' understanding and progress
  • Monitor and assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Contribute to the development of the mathematics curriculum and resources
  • Support and mentor students to reach their full potential
  • Collaborate with other members of the mathematics department to share best practice and develop innovative teaching strategies

Requirements:

  • Qualified teacher status and experience of teaching mathematics in the UK
  • Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for teaching mathematics
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their best
  • Experience of working with students of all abilities, including those with special educational needs
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other members of the mathematics department and wider school community
